Drip Coffee (Automatic Coffee Maker)

Overview:

Drip coffee machines heat water and drip it over ground coffee in a filter, producing a clean, consistent brew.

Steps:

1. Fill the reservoir with fresh water.

2. Place a paper or metal filter in the basket.

3. Add medium-ground coffee (about 1–2 tbsp per 6 oz water).

4. Start the machine and let it brew.

French Press

Overview:

Immersion brewing method that produces a rich, full-bodied coffee.

Steps:

1. Add coarse-ground coffee to the press (1:15 coffee-to-water ratio).

2. Pour hot water (just off boil) over grounds.

3. Stir and steep for 4 minutes.

4. Press the plunger slowly and serve.

Overview:

Manual method for clean, bright flavours using controlled pouring.

Steps:

1. Place filter in dripper and rinse.

2. Add medium-fine coffee grounds.

3. Slowly pour hot water in circular motion, allowing bloom and extraction.

AeroPress

Overview:

Compact, versatile brewer using pressure for quick extraction.

Steps:

1. Add coffee and water to chamber.

2. Stir and steep for 30–60 seconds.

3. Press plunger to force coffee through filter.

Espresso Machine

Overview:

High-pressure brewing for concentrated coffee shots.

Steps:

1. Fill portafilter with fine-ground coffee and tamp firmly.

2. Lock portafilter into machine.

3. Start extraction (25–30 seconds).

Moka Pot (Stovetop Espresso)

Overview:

Brews strong coffee using steam pressure.

Steps:

1. Fill bottom chamber with water.

2. Add coffee to filter basket.

3. Heat on stove until coffee fills top chamber.

Cold Brew

Overview:

Slow extraction for smooth, low-acid coffee.

Steps:

1. Combine coarse coffee and cold water (1:8 ratio).

2. Steep for 12–24 hours.

3. Strain and serve over
